IronTrack Privacy Policy

Who we are

IronTrack is a personal fitness logging app. This policy explains what data the app stores, why, and how you can remove it.

What we store

When you use IronTrack, we store the following on your behalf:

• Your account email and an encrypted password hash (managed by Firebase Authentication so you can sign in on multiple devices).
• Your chosen display name and avatar colour.
• Body stats you log (weight, body fat, measurements, custom fields).
• Workouts you record (exercises, sets, reps, weight, notes, duration).
• Routines you build.
• Daily weight logs (used to compute 7-day and 14-day moving averages).
• Body goals you set (target weight, target body fat, target date).
• Feedback you submit.

Everything except your login credentials is stored under your Firebase user ID in Google Firestore. Only you (when signed in) can read or write it — Firestore Security Rules enforce this on every request.

We do not collect location, contacts, health-kit data, advertising IDs, device identifiers, or any behavioural tracking. IronTrack contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

How we use your data

Your data is used only to power features you can see in the app: workout history, personal records, progress charts, weight moving averages, body-goal feasibility, and to send you a password-reset email if you request one.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for profiling. There is no user-to-user interaction, feed, chat, or public profile in the app.

Third-party processors

To operate the app we rely on the following sub-processors:

• Google Firebase — Authentication (email + password), Cloud Firestore (encrypted storage of the data you enter), and Firebase’s operational logging. Firebase is provided by Google LLC and is GDPR-compliant. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy for their policy.
• Apple / Google platform services — only for delivering the app itself (App Store or Play Store), fonts, and the in-app browser used to open this policy.

No other third parties receive your data.

How to delete your data

Open Profile → Delete account. Confirming will:

1. Permanently delete every record tied to your account in Firestore (workouts, routines, weight logs, body stats, goals, feedback).
2. Delete your Firebase Authentication user, releasing your email address.

There is no recovery period. Alternatively, email jimbobbbbapps7@outlook.com from the address on file and we will delete your account within 30 days.

Data retention

We keep the data listed above only while your account exists. When you delete your account, everything is removed immediately. We do not create backups of individual user data outside of Firebase’s own short-lived operational snapshots, which are rotated by Google within their standard retention window.

Children

IronTrack is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, contact us at jimbobbbbapps7@outlook.com and we will delete it.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You can, at any time:

• Access every field we store about you (all of it is visible in-app under Profile, Workouts, Progress, and Weight Tracker).
• Correct it (edit in-app).
• Export it (email us and we will send a JSON copy within 30 days).
• Delete it (Profile → Delete account, or by email).
• Withdraw consent (uninstalling and deleting your account).

We rely on consent and performance of a contract as our lawful bases for processing.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and (where practical) notify you in-app before the change takes effect.
